On the evening of Dec 15th, we are inviting you to join us for a Welcome Kits & Cookie Party for the sake of being festive and supporting our neighbors. Canopy NWA is collecting "welcome kits" for incoming refugee families who are escaping dire circumstances in their home countries. Canopy collects these kits as a way to help provide for the basic needs of these families who are arriving with very little or nothing. They typically include basic necessities such as home goods and personal care items. 

Some Community Groups will be hosting parties within their groups, but we would also like to create space for those not connected to a group to participate. So this year we are hosting our own party at the church offices in Springdale! Bring Christmas cookies to share, as well as select items from a Welcome Kit supply list - we will be providing these supply lists after you register. We will be assembling the kits at the parties, so that each group will create several kits to be delivered to Canopy.
