WEEKLY
Groups commit to gather weekly throughout the school year, with optional off times around holidays and through the summer. New groups are launched and openings made available in existing groups at the beginning of each semester.
Geographically
Living close to one another is not only convenient for your commute to the gathering but also means you’re more likely to naturally cross paths (at schools, grocery stores, parks), share common relationships, and be able to support one another with practical needs. Though living in close proximity is not required, it is highly encouraged!
Multi-generationally
Opportunities to cultivate relationships based on stage of life or affinity abound (and they’re great!). But, we believe there’s a real gift in diversity when it comes to the Church. Young and old, married or single—we have so much to offer and receive from one another! Each unique experience and perspective is an opportunity to learn and grow together.
How do Community Groups gather?
Community Group Commitments
Commit to following Jesus
Actively participate in your own spiritual formation by regularly choosing to walk with Jesus, grow in His likeness, and live out His way in your daily life.
COmmit to Christ the King Church
At CTK, we share a common desire to embody the good news of Jesus with the whole of our lives, for the sake of others. This means we value gathering regularly on Sundays, being shaped by the authority of Scripture, and rooting ourselves in the historic faith of the Church.
COMMIt to your community Group
Regularly attend and consistently participate in Community unless you’re out of town, sick, or there is an unforeseen, unavoidable circumstance, in which case you should communicate to your group promptly.
Commit to Your City
Taking spiritual responsibility for your local geographic community through prayer and involvement in your Community’s monthly mission.
Join a Community Group

Under “Find a Group,” select “Community Groups.”
Browse open Community Groups and select one that would be a good fit. Determine whether the group is a good fit for you by reading the group description, location, meeting day and time, childcare, stage of life, and open spots.
When you find a group that is a good fit, click "Request to Join," and one of the group leaders will follow up with you!
If you are not able to find a good fit within an open Community Group, please reach out to

CONNECTION GROUPS
Connection Groups are gatherings built around shared interests, vocations, or life stages — from the Artist Guild, Meal Ministry, or our light-hearted “50+ Youth Group.”
They’re simple ways to connect, belong, and grow in community beyond Sunday.
You Were made for community.
Whether you’re looking to connect deeply or take a first step, there’s a place for you at Christ the King.
