This Advent, we are intentionally making space to serve our neighbors alongside one of our local mission partners, Canopy Northwest Arkansas. Canopy is dedicated to creating a welcoming community for incoming refugees, equipping them with everything they need to build new lives here. Over the next two weeks we will be sharing afterschool “snack pack” wishlists with specific food items and small toys that can be collected and given to refugee youth who are participating in one of Canopy’s afterschool programs around the region. Snack packs will then be collected on Sunday mornings on December 7th and 14th. Get some snack items and small toys together to assemble a snack pack—or a few of them with friends!
