We at CTK have a new local mission partner! Russell D. Jones is an elementary school in southeast Rogers just seven minutes from our new building. Jones is a great school with dedicated staff and wonderful students. Jones is also a school where many of the students and their families live at or below the poverty line and they don't currently have a lot in the way of community partners. Through this new collaboration we have an incredible opportunity to expand the work we are doing as a church—loving our neighbors by partnering with Jones and coming alongside teachers, students and families.

We have already started partnering together this past month, with our CTK Youth serving at Jones for their Serve Weekend and also through the generosity of CTK members who stocked the teacher’s lounge for the beginning of the school year. Now we have the opportunity to work together again for parent-teacher days at Jones, helping greet and feed families as they arrive for conferences on the 22nd and 24th of this month.
